"If I were you," whispered BoCo. "I can get back to work right abroad." he rolled abroad.

As the Quarry-master walked back to his part, he was beginning to have niggling doubts about his own determination.

"Oh, I hope this new diesel doesn't add anymore confusion," he murmured. "he's new and then jump to accept some sort of teething troubles."

And he was right. Afterwards, the diesel was making up his way from the Mainland. As he went upwardly Gordon'south colina, he plant it very hard.

"Oh, my grease and oil. I wasn't expecting this hill." He tried his hardest, but at that place was a lot of coffins spluttered. He was stuck in a cloud of smoke. "Bother!" he muttered.

"That'south alright," soofed BoCo. "No diesels become overheated I'm agape." Derek felt a petty amend.

"I sure promise though. I don't desire anyone else to see me in such a country." But it was as well late. Whistles filled in the air as Donald and Douglas puffed backside them with a train of supplies for the Dirt Pits.

"Good afternoon, BoCo," laughed Donald. "Hey, what's going on here?"

"Oh nothing serious, Donald," smiled BoCo. "only a bit of teething for our new friend Derek here." Derek blushed, looking down at his buffers.

"Don't be telling Bill and Ben that," laughed Douglas. "You'll never hear the stop of it."

"Yeah, a nasty case it is as well," put in Douglas. "Best of luck to both of you." And Donald and Douglas puffed away.

"Why did they want to wish us good luck?" asked Ben.

"Because he knows we'll need it," worried Pecker. "a diesel fuel with a toothache must exist the worst diesel of all." Then the Quarry-master spoke to them.

"Yous will take your clay cars to the Docks and residual there tonight," he said. "There's a lot of hard work to practise tomorrow." The twins agreed, but they all the same worried.

When the nighttime came, the twins shunted the freight cars into a siding by the quey and scurried off to the Shed where Edward was resting.

"I've never seen you 2 looked and then glum before," he said. "What's the thing?"

"It'south the new diesel," said Bill.

"Oh, nosotros wouldn't worry most him," said Edward. "You may exist troublesome sometimes. But, I don't call up your manager would ever replace the two of y'all."

"We're not worried about being replaced!" cut in Ben. "Donald and Douglas say he's got a toothache." Edward starred, and and then he laughed.
